Road to Austin

It's more than a movie to me... it's an adventure. I love Austin, I know I'm not alone in that. I love the artistic vibe that is the city. How it touches absolutely everything in it. It is so present that it's an audible hum of artistic electricity and I dig it.

The pizza. Yup I ate it! And it was gooooood!

We just embarked on a little road trip to Austin. We thought since I'm gonna be there for the SXSW Conference (the largest musical conference in the world) anyway, I should probably go haunt 6th Street and make a mark so I can play more while I'm there. So that's what we did.

We spent two days talking to EVERYONE on 6th Street. We met a LOT of bartenders, saw a LOT of bands, drank a LOT of beverages and ate a little bit of pizza... and came back with some great new friends and contacts. But you gotta know when the trip ends the hustle begins!

I'll definitely be playing in Austin during SXSW, the question remains, how many times, how many places? Time will tell... for now we're hustling to make it all happen.

All I can say I am excited to have been invited to play a "Best of LA" Showcase during the conference,and even more excited that I get to do it in Austin. I am gonna love being a part of that scene.
